Scientific Answers & Solutions, (SAS) was founded by Dr. Ruben Reininger in 1998.


Dr. Reininger has over twenty five years of professional experience at several international synchrotron radiation centers as a scientist, instrumentation developer, and instrumentation group leader.


SAS has designed over 24 beamlines for IR, VUV, soft x-rays, and x-rays for synchrotron radiation centers and free electron lasers around the world. We have also provided advice and reviewed several beamlines and optical instruments at synchrotron centers in the US and Europe. 

SAS specializes in:

  1. BulletDesign, development, and implementation of synchrotron radiation beamlines and instrumentation.

  2. BulletDesign and development of optical systems.
